UNFUG BLEIBT! – Linke Freiräume verteidigen in Lüneburg und überall!

Nach 2 Jahren Verhandlungen mit Stadt und Politik ist klar: Lüneburgs Oberbürgermeister Mädge (SPD) will uns aus „seiner“ Stadt vertreiben!

Die Bauwagen auf unserem Grundstück sollen verschwinden. Deshalb hat der Oberbürgermeister seine Verwaltung angewiesen, jede noch so fadenscheinige Argumentation gegen uns zu verwenden. Denn es ist klar: Ohne Bauwagen, kein Wohnprojekt!

Wir haben diese Woche von der Stadt die Räumungsandrohung bekommen. Es sollen somit zehn Erwachsene, zwei Babys und ein Kind ab dem 01.07. obdachlos gemacht werden! Während Corona sollen unter anderem zwei Familien mit Babys ihr zu Hause verlieren! Das ist nicht hinnehmbar. Wir sind unfassbar wütend. Und gleichzeitig traurig. Ein linker Freiraum in Lüneburg soll verschwinden. Das Muster ist bekannt. Seit Jahren werden linke Freiräume angegriffen und geräumt. Wir sagen: Kein Haus und kein Wagen weniger!

Unser Ort, an dem Menschen wohnen und politisch aktiv sind, steht vor dem Aus. Unfug ist mehr als nur bezahlbarer und barrierearmer Wohnraum, der dringend benötigt wird. Wir sind Teil eines politischen, aktiven und lebendigen Lüneburgs. Unsere Wut über die Räumungsandrohung und unseren Willen, Unfug zu erhalten, bringen wir am 30. Mai auf die Straße. Wir rufen alle dazu auf, dies mit uns zu tun:

After 2 years of negotiations with the city council and politician it is obvious: Lüneburg's mayor Mädge (SPD) wants to expel us from "his" city!

The trailer homes on our property have to disappear. Therefore, the Mayor has instructed his administration to use every threadbare argument against us. Because it is clear: Without trailer homes, no housing project!

We received the eviction notice from the city council this week. Ten adults, two babies and one child are to be made homeless as of 01.07.! During Corona, two families with babies will lose their homes! This is unacceptable. We are incredibly angry. And sad at the same time. A left free space in Lüneburg has to disappear. The pattern is well known. Left free spaces have been attacked and cleared for years. We say: No house and no trailer less!

Our place, where people live and are politically active, is facing the end. UNFUG is more than just affordable and barrier-free living space, which is urgently needed. We are part of a political, active and lively Lüneburg. On May 30th, we put our anger about the threat of eviction and our will to keep UNFUG alive to the streets.
