Gründung eines neuen Kollektivs // Setting up a new Collective

Vor allem die feministische Black Community der USA hat viel für diese Konzepte getan, diese mitentwickelt und in ihren Communities schon jahrelang praktiziert. Das Kollektiv Transformative Justice and Community Accountability aus Berlin ist jedoch nicht mehr aktiv und hat sich deshalb aufgelöst:

Doch wir möchten weiter mit diesen Ansätzen arbeiten. Dazu gründen wir eine neue Gruppe, die an die Arbeit anknüpft.

Wir sind selbst schon lange aktiv in dem Bereich, sei es weil wir selbst Teil des alten Kollektives waren oder jahrelange Erfahrung in der Begleitung von transformativen Arbeitsprozessen haben. Wir wünschen uns eine Kontinuität bzw. eine Weiterentwicklung dieser Konzepte und laden euch herzlich zu den öffentlichen Treffen ein. Dort wollen wir zusammen überlegen, wie eine Arbeit im Kollektiv aussehen könnte. Was wären die Schwerpunkte? Wie sieht eine Zusammensetzung des Kollektivs aus? Welche Erfahrungen bringen wir mit?

Unser erstes öffentliche Treffen findet am 9. Februar 2020 von 13:00-16:30 Uhr im FAQ statt. Das zweite Treffen am 1. März 2020 und das dritte Treffen am 5. April 2020 von 12:30-16:30 Uhr im Aquarium. Für das zweite Treffen sind wir noch auf der Suche nach einem Raum, falls du eine Idee hast, schreib uns gerne an.

Wir wollen was bewegen. Wir wollen, dass wir selbst Veranwortung übernehmen. Verantwortung für unser Handeln, Verantwortung für unser Umfeld, Verantwortung für unsere Community.

The Community Accountability und Transformative Justice concepts stemming from the US have gradually gained some notoriety in Berlin. For years now, US-based Black feminist communities have done a lot for these concepts - both in their development and active practice. Today, the Berlin-based Transformative Justice and Community Accountability Collective is not active anymore and has thus been dissolved:

However, we do wish to keep further working with this approach. Therefore, we are setting up a new group that will carry on this work.

We have long been active in this field - whether by being members of the old collective or accompanying year-long transformative work processes. We now wish for a continuity and a further development of these concepts, which is why we are inviting you to our public meetings. We want to think together about how this collective work could evolve. What would be the main focuses? What would the composition of the collective look like? Which experiences are we bringing to the discussion?

Our first public meeting will take place on February 9th, 2020, from 1:00-4:30pm, at the FAQ; the second meeting, on March 1st, 2020, (venue to be determined); the third meeting, on April 5th, 2020, from 12:30-4:30pm, at the Aquarium. We are still looking for a venue for the second meeting. If you have any ideas, please feel free to write us.
